Rack Vulnerability Assessment

Our Rack Vulnerability Assessment is a general health check for IT Racks. The goal of the assessment is to identify risks and issues which could lead to operational disruption.

We assess racks against industry standards and grade risks on a three-tier system to provide a clear breakdown of issues that need attention or urgent remediation. 

Sunspeed will provide experienced data center professionals who record key attributes of the environment and survey each rack individually.

Cable installation is key for optimum performance and ease of change. We check the use of correct size cables, the way they are dressed and labelled and bend radii  along with cable type separation and management.

General Environment Inspection

This includes health and safety, rack security, fire hazards and the general tidiness of the IT environment.

We assess the resilience of power supplies, load balancing, single powered device protection, installation/suitability of cables and assess the suitability of initiatives and enable easier change and maintenance.
