We support many of the UK’s Data Centres, Large Service Integrators and IT Resellers and are trusted by organisations small and large across both the private and public sectors.
Safe & Secure – At Sunspeed, our experienced and security cleared engineers can coordinate all your logistical needs as well as deliver the technical requirements for any server relocation, from small moves to large data centre projects.
Project Coordination – No matter the size or scope, a dedicated project coordinator is assigned to all projects. As the main point of contact whilst a project is in delivery, the project coordinator is responsible for coordinating site surveys, scheduling, briefing the engineering teams and organising the logistics.
If our racks are hosted in a colocation facility, can we still benefit from a Sunspeed Managed Service?
Absolutely, we collaborate with customers in all facilities from small comms rooms, on-premise computer rooms, or purpose-built data centres. The additional benefit we can deliver in colocation facilities is being the conduit between your business needs and the operation of your room environment. We are familiar with most colo providers and already have great working relationships with them that instantly bear fruit for all parties.
Is our Data Centre too small to benefit from a Managed Service?
In short, the answer is “no,” our service can be right sized and efficiently priced for any requirement. You may require boots on the ground 24 x 7, a remote service desk managing activities from a distance, or not currently know what you need. The way Sunspeed structure our service components lends itself easily to all eventualities.
We currently have a Datacentre Managed Services provided either internally or externally.
No problem, and we don’t want to step on anybody’s toes. However, it is worth mentioning that where we have been contracted to manage Data Centre environments, we have enhanced installations with our knowledge, experience, lean methodology and understanding the impact of emerging technologies in modern datacentres. If you would like to get in touch, we can explore how we can support you in detail and help you make an informed decision about your current approach or supplier.
Due to the pace of change, our datacentre is never stable enough to benefit from a Managed Service.
A correctly managed data centre ensures that successful change becomes the norm. By understanding and documenting the assets, patching, security, power, space, etc. and then updating it after every change will ensure that you are always “change ready,” thereby reducing risk and time within expensive projects. Sunspeed are well versed in undertaking every aspect of physical IT change and by engaging with us on your projects you will also reap the benefits associated with a “one stop shop.”
