Sunspeed’s IT Recycling service supports the safe and efficient disposal of IT assets at the end of their operational life. We manage the full process from equipment collection and transport through to certificated data destruction, WEEE compliant recycling and resale where applicable.

COLLECTION SERVICES
Secure collection of redundant hardware from customer premises, with optional decommissioning and on-site handling.
WEEE RECYCLING
Assets with no residual value are sent to downstream service partners for responsible recycling including parts-harvesting.
RESALE
Sunspeed’s circular IT partners will resell equipment where possible with rebate being shared with the customer.
CERTIFICATION
All destruction provides you with a Recycling Confirmation Certificate (RCC) and assets are inventoried for your approval.
MAXIMISING VALUE THROUGH CIRCULAR IT
Much of the equipment organisations retire still holds material or resale value. Sunspeed assesses and processes all collected assets to determine their most effective route, prioritising reuse or resale wherever possible. Equipment suitable for resale is refurbished, and rebates are shared with the customer as either cash, charity donation or reduced cost on future work.
Hardware that cannot be reused is broken down and recycled by licensed providers, diverting waste from landfill and reducing environmental impact. This approach helps customers reduce disposal costs, capture residual value and improve the sustainability profile of infrastructure change programmes.

ON-SITE DATA DESTRUCTION
Mobile shredding and wiping at your premises, removing the need to transport data-bearing media before destruction. Suitable for high-security environments and regulatory compliance.
DATA DESTRUCTION
Off-site destruction of data-bearing devices using certified wiping, degaussing or shredding. Includes full audit trail and Certificate of Data Destruction (CoDD).
IT RECYCLING AND RESALE
Collection and processing of redundant IT hardware, with prioritisation of reuse and resale. Equipment is assessed for residual value and either resold for rebate or recycled.
