Overview
Sunspeed were engaged by a Data Centre partner to manage the dilapidation of a customer environment. Our team removed 72 x racks as-well as overhead containment and structured cabling. Over a week, our team removed all containment and recovered to Sunspeed’s asset disposal facility for processing. We then disposed of equipment and containment in line with the WEEE directive.

Containment removal
Our teams managed the removal of all redundant containment, leaving the space ready to receive new customers.
Waste processing
Sunspeed recycled all scrap metal and waste to ensure environmental responsibility.

Our service was aligned with customer budget and allowed for the re-purposing of the space for housing co-location customers.

Our Engineers utilised specialist removal equipment and vehicles to ensure efficiency and safety in the operation.
