Overview

Sunspeed has a long-term partnership with a channel customer to provide regular technical logistics to support their infrastructure services including Data Centre Implementation and Management services, and server and storage platforms deployment. Their requirement was for a reliable and secure technical logistics platform that allowed them to move equipment between their own and customer sites efficiently and on a frequent basis. Sunspeed provides the IT-spec vehicles, experienced engineering resource, specialist packing materials and back-office services to deliver a responsive and co-ordinated service. The service has enabled the customer to fulfill their customer orders effectively, and deliver their services on-time and reliably, garnering faith with customers and repeat business.

We provide a secure password-protected GPS tracking platform so customer teams can locate and track deliveries.

Spotlight: Technical Logistics

At the core of our business are our Technical Logistics services. We partner with channel and end-user organisations to provide a White Glove service designed to transport high-value IT equipment with the safety, security and efficiency demanded by the fast pace of modern IT and Data Centre services delivery. We deploy several specialist resources, including: IT-spec vehicles with air-ride suspension and physical security measures, experienced IT Engineers and drivers, specialist packaging such as anti-static bubble-wrap and flight cases and knowledge and experience of working with all categories of IT equipment and inside logistically challenging locations.
