Paris & Frankfurt Data Centre Rollout

Overview

Sunspeed were engaged by a channel partner to perform the installation of over 700 devices and 3000 cables across two Data Centres in Paris and Frankfurt. Sunspeed provided experienced Relocation Engineers who performed an efficient ‘rack & stack’ of all devices into the server cabinets. Technical Engineers worked to tight timelines to deliver the Connect & Dress of the new racks, installing copper, fibre and power cables. The Technical Engineers also remained on-site to support the client with powering up, testing and configuring the devices.

We design and deploy high-quality in-rack cable management solutions that are neat, accommodate change and consider fine details such as bend radius etc.

Our Technical Project Management capability is there to assist your teams with design and deploy of the solution, and ensure seamless delivery of the major workstreams.



Handover Support

As standard, we offer a 2-hour period of Handover Support; our engineers remain on-site to assist your teams with the power up and testing process.

Spotlight: On-Site Engineering

At the core of our business is our in-house engineering team. Sunspeed’s Technical Engineers are highly trained and capable of carrying out a range of responsibilities, whether you’re carrying out large infrastructure projects or performing routine tasks or maintenance on your Data Centre or Comms-room hardware. Our engineers can manage most in-rack of out of rack cabling requirements, including structured cabling. They can also, with the assistance of our Technical Project Managers, perform cable refreshes which ensure your environment is tidy and resilient to risk. Our engineers can also be hired on a rate-card basis, or integrated into an MSA with other services, to provide smart-hands support or take care of BAU requirements such as installs, moves, adds & changes or remote hands support.
