July and August - traditionally months when people escape on their holidays and business slows down....not for Sunspeed!
Business is booming right now and Sunspeed seem to be bucking the trend in this recession. However, it is the recession, in part, that is responsible for the increas in business! Many companies are being either acquired or are consolidating into fewer locations. The requirement for IT relocation has increased rapidly during the last 12 months in particular and Sunspeed have been fortunate to have won plenty of these contracts. Here's a summary of just some of the business we have been handling during the summer months and September is continuing the positive trend.
- Large scanner shipment to Sweden for three separate locations. This was carried out by our trusted airfreight shippers and the customer was in the Critical Care sector
- Guernsey collection for delivery to Dublin. Selection of IT equipment for a Gaming Company
- Reading to Denmark , using our Dedicated Delivery Service
- Maidenhead to The Netherlands - Five Servers needed for urgent Clinical Trials
- Jersey to Slough - Telecoms Project
- Our regular weekend projects, working primarily with several large financial institutions
- Major Datacenter relocation for a Hosting Company
- Project Management for several customers including a large media corporation
- Bonn, Germany - requested on a Tuesday for delivery on Thursday - no problem!
Running in parrallel with all the above 'exotic' destinations, were our regular UK-wide relocations. There was also another IT Auction and Sunspeed were approached by several of the successful buyers to transport their purchases throughout the UK and Europe.
We also had some requests for disk shredding - not something that we undertake on site but we do have partners that we use for this service.
Sunspeed's continued success can be attributed to our dedication to service, rapid response to enquiries and with over 24 years of experience customers know that they can trust their IT and specialist equipment in our hands.
